I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me. Matthew 25:43-45
There are so many people in prison who feel like everyone has forgotten about them, including God. The Spirit of God led us to reveal "Him" to those who are locked away, so we write to our friends on a monthly basis in order to encourage them by letting them know, God has not forgotten about them and He loves them unconditionally.
This ministry started out with just three names four years ago, but today we have a fellowship with over seventy men! Our brothers write back to us and honestly, we are encouraged by their gratitude and their determination to, "hold on to God's unchanging hands". We are excited about the relationships that have formed and we look forward to hearing from them each month.
